So How Did You Like the Block Party?
Well, another Federal Hill Spring Block Party has come to an end -- 0n a beautiful and hot April afternoon. The music was great, with Baltimore favorites like the Kelly Bell Band (right). Hope you made it down to Cross St. to enjoy the day.
We'd like to hear how you liked the Block Party this year. Please post a Comment here if you've got something to say. Or drop us a note (or stop by) the office on Cross St.
And thanks to all the volunteers that helped out this year. We couldn't have done it without you. You all are GREAT!

Business District Streets Are Looking Good
If you think the streets around the Cross Street Market seem cleaner lately, it's not your imagination. Federal Hill restaurants and taverns are kicking in funds to pay for about 24 man-hours of cleaning services each week by the local South Baltimore Station.
The Federal Hill Hospitality Association is using proceeds from its Irish Stroll event to hire the labor provided by residents of the Station, a home for men, mostly veterans, who are working toward self-sufficiency. The cleaning crew is out on Thursday and Sunday mornings.
Let's all do our part to keep our streets clean. If you see trash, pick it up! And, spread the word.
