The Federal Hill Jazz&Blues Wine&Art Festival is this Sunday, June 3, from 11am-7pm, and we are adding a Wine Garden this year for everyone to enjoy.
Featuring 11 different red and white varietals for drinking and/or sampling, the Garden will be located in the lot at the corner of South Charles and West Cross Streets. Along with tastings, we'll be offering two wine seminars led by experts: “Zin & BBQ” and “Bubbly & Cheeses,” which will be repeated twice throughout the day. Cheese Galore & More of Cross Street Market is providing cheese. Find something you really like? Take it home - bottles and cases of wine will be available for purchase.
Right next to the Wine Garden, you'll find Artist Alley, where you can browse and purchase beautiful, original art from several different local artists. Be sure to check it out.
And, of course, you'll find great music all day on two stages, lots of arts&crafts and food&drink, Kids' Kross Street, and the usual Federal Hill festival fun. All with FREE admission!
We are very excited about the new Wine Garden. Come out and enjoy the festivities and support our nonprofit community revitalization program! Info: www.historicfederalhill.org, 410-727-4500.

Expanded Kids' Kross Street at June 3 Festival
The popular and FREE Federal Hill Jazz&Blues Wine&Art Festival is coming soon - on Sunday, June 3, 11am-7pm on S. Charles and Cross Streets.
No need to leave the kids at home; there are activities for all ages to enjoy! Kids' Kross Street on the south side of Cross Street Market is a block-long extravaganza! Federal Hill Main Street donates equipment, and parent volunteers contribute time to manage a lot of fun activities.
After several years of coordinating the fun, Wendy Muher and Teri Bickford have passed the baton to Misty Keens and Shane Splitt. We thank Wendy and Teri for the great service they have done for their community and look forward to working with Misty and Shane. They'll be making sure everyone has a blast with two moon bounces, bubble machines, a toddler play area, craft tables, and many other fun games including ring toss!
SoBo Kids, a local nonprofit family service organization led by Andrea Sommer and family, will be offering face painting and temporary tattoos. Towson Athletics will bring its inflatable tiger mascot, a football toss game, and an obstacle course. Waterfront Partnership is getting into the action with a booth of fun toys including beanbag tosses, hula-hoops, parachutes, sidewalk chalk and more!
So, while adults are enjoying the music, wine, food and art, the kids will be having just as much fun! Come on down to Federal Hill. You will not want to miss out!
