Federal Hill's biggest annual street festival is coming up on Sunday, Sept. 20. The party starts at 11am and runs till 7pm.
Here's a preview of this year's music line-up: Chopteeth Afro Beat Big Band, The Reserves, Bill Iuso and the Restless Natives (from New Orleans!), The Slackadelics, Van Meter, Bullbreakers, Cold Cold Heartbreakers, Jarflys, Digital Elvis, Down Goes Frazier, Sons of the Radio, Stone's Throw, The Cheaters, The Lombards, School of Rock Al Stars, Psycho Killers (Talking Heads tribute), and more.
I've heard that this year is going to be special, because it encourages everyone to bring their canine companions! I've also heard that there will be an entire group of vendors there just for the dog. Both we and our dogs can't wait!
ReplyDeleteGreat music line-up. Any truth to the rumor that the Natty Beaux will be playing? They blew the roof off of the Riverside Park pavilion when they played a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteAbout Natty Beaux ... It didn't work out for Streat Beat this year, but we plan to have them in the 2010 fesitval season.
ReplyDeleteAre the J & B Blues Project coming back this year? I really enjoyed seeing them last year at Street Beat.
ReplyDeleteThe J&B Blues Project played our Jazz & Blues Festival in June, so they won't be at Street Beat. We plan on getting them back next year.
