Federal Hill Cup Winners Announced

The first, second, and third place teams were not the only winners at the 2nd Annual Federal Hill Golf Cup -- the whole Federal Hill business district wins! This is because the tournament sponsor, Federal Hill Hospitality Association, will use the proceeds (approximately $7,000) to pay for street cleaning as well as security details during special events in the business district.

The cleaning takes place twice a week on all the streets in the commercial area under an arrangement with the Baltimore Station, which sends a crew out at 6 am on Thursdays and Sundays.

The Federal Hill Cup winners are: First Place, Ryleigh's Oyster; Second Place: The Abbey Burger Bistro; Third Place: Mad River Bar & Grill (pictured here). The Cup was presented at an after-tournament celebration at Ryleigh's Oyster that was open to the public.
