Adopt-A-Pot Flourishes in Federal Hill

As part of Main Street’s beautification mission, four new planting pots were recently placed along the sidewalk on South Charles, adding to the now 21 all-weather pots that bring growing curb appeal to the Federal Hill neighborhood – all thanks to resident, volunteer, and green thumb extraordinaire Helen Huriaux.

Neighbors and business owners care and maintain the pots and the flowers that grow within, all selected by Helen for their color, heartiness, and attractiveness. Two new pots were added on the Charles Street entrance of Advent Senior Housing, another at Green Door Properties (1138 S. Charles Street), and the last welcomes the newly established Kim’s Day Spa (1137 S. Charles). Cobblestone Wealth Management (2 E. Wheeling) is also expecting the delivery of a pot.
Adopt the challenge and take on the mission to check out all 21 pots spread throughout Light Street, E. Cross Street, and S. Charles Street. Or better yet, join other Federal Hill Businesses and residents as an Adopt-A-Pot sponsor. Contact Federal Hill Main Street for more information: 410-727-4500.
